About me

I currently work as Learning Technologist for Skills@Library; a department of the University of Leeds Library which assists students with their academic skills development. Our website features a comprehensive range of online resources which are open access.

I have also been known to do a spot of freelance work from time to time.

The main tool of my trade are the Articulate Studio ’09 suite, which I love using for all sorts of projects (I’ve even used it a few times to create bespoke e-cards for friends and family, which is lots of fun and I’d highly recommend it!) I also enjoy dabbling in anything else I can get my hands on.

I’m currently working on trying to fill a few gaps in my skills, by learning some elements of HTML, CSS, JQuery and Flash. My approach has been somewhat haphazard so far, in that I’ve done bits and bobs where I’ve needed to for particular projects, but everyone’s got to start somewhere!
